Senior Software Engineer - Data Collection

What You Will Do:

• Build and enhance data collection pipelines using Python
• Build internal tools and dashboards using JavaScript and Python
• Participate in code reviews
• Collaborate with a talented team of engineers, data scientists, product managers, and subject-matter experts
• Translate requirements into secure applications and services
• Develop and maintain software using best practices for readable and maintainable code

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering
• Ability to work alongside other engineers
• Ability to manage time efficiently
• Ability to ask questions when needed
• Pragmatic approach to challenges
• Infinite appetite for learning
• Experience with Python
• Experience with JavaScript
• Experience with HTML and CSS
• Experience with Git or similar version control systems

What Will Set You Apart:

• Experience with Scrapy
• Experience with Neo4j or similar graph databases
• Experience with issue tracking tools like Jira
