**About The Role:** We are seeking an AI Agent Engineer to join our newly-formed AI Agent team. In this role, you will work on cutting-edge projects that leverage large language models to solve complex cybersecurity challenges. You will help our global customers secure their most critical systems by developing and deploying AI agents that manage and optimize access controls.

**Responsibilities:**
- Lead the design and development of AI agents that manage and secure access across customer environments
- Collaborate with data scientists, security experts, and product managers to define and implement AI solutions
- Build and train machine learning models to enhance security and access control
- Integrate AI capabilities into StrongDM's core platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of AI systems to ensure optimal performance
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of innovation and collaboration
- Stay current with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and cybersecurity

**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on AI/ML or cybersecurity
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Rust
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and distributed systems architecture
- Solid understanding of machine learning concepts, including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning
- Experience building and deploying machine learning models in production environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
