Product Design Lead

**About The Role:** We are seeking a Product Design Lead to craft clean, playful new UX/UI and talk to users extensively. You will play a key role in shaping the user experience of our writing tools, ensuring they are intuitive, engaging, and delightful to use. This role involves close collaboration with users to understand their needs and improve our product continuously.

**Key Responsibilities:** 
- Lead the design of user interfaces and user experiences for Sudowrite's writing tools.
- Conduct user research and interviews to gather insights into user needs and behaviors.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for new features and improvements.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and writers to bring design concepts to life.
- Test designs with users and iterate based on feedback.
- Stay at the forefront of design trends and best practices in the creative technology space.

**Required Skills and Ideal Candidate:**
- Proven experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX work.
- Excellent product sense and the ability to translate user needs into intuitive designs.
- Strong agency and the ability to advocate for users and drive design decisions.
- A sense of humor, adventure, and hope to create a playful and engaging user experience.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Ability to write and code (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) to prototype and validate design ideas.
- Experience with animation and interaction design to enhance user engagement.
- Portfolio demonstrating work in creative or storytelling applications is a plus.

**Compensation:** We offer a competitive salary ranging from $150,000 to $200,000, along with equity, 401K matching, profit-sharing bonuses, retreats, and unlimited books. This is a full-time, remote position.
