Product Manager

About Supabase: Supabase is an open-source, fully remote company building developer tools for Postgres. We offer a Postgres database, vector extensions, auth, real-time functionality, storage, restful APIs, and edge functions. With over 3 million managed database instances in production, we empower developers to build applications faster.

Role Overview: We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the development and execution of our product strategy. You will work closely with engineering teams to define features and drive innovation in our developer platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and prioritize product roadmap based on customer needs and business goals
• Collaborate with engineering teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
• Conduct user research and analyze customer feedback to inform product decisions
• Build and maintain product documentation and specifications
• Develop and track product metrics to measure success
• Present product vision and strategy to stakeholders
• Manage the product lifecycle from conception to launch
• Gather and analyze market trends to identify opportunities
• Work with design and marketing teams to ensure product-market fit

Required Skills and Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in product management, preferably in SaaS or developer tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Experience with agile product development methodologies
• Deep understanding of developer needs and pain points
• Ability to work with technical teams to bridge business and technical requirements
• Experience with Postgres or database technologies is a plus
• Familiarity with open-source projects and communities
• Experience working in remote, distributed teams
• Strong stakeholder management skills
