Security Operations Engineer

**Role Overview:**
We are looking for a Security Operations Engineer to strengthen our security infrastructure. You will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and improving our security posture to protect our platform and users.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Implement and maintain security monitoring systems
- Analyze security alerts and incidents to identify threats
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scanning
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices
- Perform security audits and penetration testing
- Stay updated on emerging security threats and countermeasures
- Develop incident response plans and conduct tabletop exercises
- Work with compliance requirements (e.g., SOC2, HIPAA)
- Maintain security documentation and knowledge bases

**Required Skills and Ideal Candidate:**
- Experience in security operations and threat detection
- Knowledge of security frameworks and best practices
- Familiarity with SIEM tools and security monitoring platforms
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Understanding of network security principles
- Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash)
- Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with identity and access management systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote-first environment
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
