About the Role: We are seeking a Principal Engineer and Fullstack Engineer to join our client’s engineering team. This is a Work From Office (WFO) position based in Pune, India. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining a high-impact B2B SaaS platform using Node.js, TypeScript, Postgres, and GCP. You will collaborate closely with AI/ML, business, and product teams to build scalable and reliable systems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable backend systems using Node.js and TypeScript
• Optimize database performance with Postgres and develop efficient data models
• Collaborate with cloud architects to leverage GCP for cost-effective infrastructure solutions
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews
• Drive innovation in fullstack development practices
• Ensure high-quality code delivery through rigorous testing and monitoring

Requirements:

• Extensive experience as a Principal Engineer in fullstack development
• Proven track record of building scalable web applications
• Deep expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and Postgres
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (particularly GCP)
• Experience mentoring other engineers and technical leadership
• Ability to handle complex problem-solving and architectural decisions
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with distributed teams

Compensation: The estimated pay range for this role is $150,000 - $200,000, depending on experience.
