**About Tandem Health:** Tandem Health is building a clinician copilot to allow healthcare professionals to focus on patient care rather than administrative tasks. We are building, launching, and iterating quickly, and already have over 500 organizations using our product. Our AI medical scribe listens in to patient-clinician encounters to generate accurate medical records, saving clinicians 5-10 minutes per patient and enabling them to return home on time.

**About The Role:** We are expanding our Stockholm team with exceptional engineers! We use Python (backend), TypeScript/React (frontend) and C# (Windows app) and our infrastructure runs on Kubernetes in Azure. We are especially keen to talk to senior backend engineers who have helped startups scale from thousands to millions of users.

**Responsibilities:**
- Design and develop backend services using Python
- Collaborate with frontend and infrastructure teams to build scalable and reliable systems
- Optimize performance and ensure high availability of our platform
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews
- Help shape the future of healthcare technology by improving our AI algorithms and user experience

**Requirements:**
- Proven experience in backend development with Python
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or similar)
- Experience with microservices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for building high-quality software
