About Tandem Health: Tandem Health is building a clinician copilot to allow healthcare professionals to focus on care rather than administration. We use Python (backend), TypeScript/React (frontend) and C# (Windows app) and our infrastructure runs on Kubernetes in Azure. We’re scaling rapidly in terms of # of users and are especially keen to talk to seasoned data engineers.**

**About The Role:** We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to significantly impact the data infrastructure, pipelines, and analytics capabilities of Tandem's platform. You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining the data systems that power our AI-native healthcare solutions.

**What You'll Do / Responsibilities:**
*   Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for processing clinical data.
*   Develop and optimize data storage solutions (SQL, NoSQL databases).
*   Implement data quality checks and monitoring systems.
*   Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to provide the necessary data infrastructure.
*   Contribute to the architecture of our cloud-based data lake and warehouse solutions.
*   Automate data processing tasks using ETL/ELT tools.
*   Ensure data security and compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, GDPR).

**What You'll Bring / Requirements / Qualifications:**
*   Proven experience in data engineering, particularly with Python and SQL.
*   Deep understanding of data warehousing and data lake concepts.
*   Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Airflow, Kafka).
*   Knowledge of cloud data services (AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, BigQuery).
*   Familiarity with data modeling and schema design.
*   Experience with data visualization and reporting tools.
*   Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex data challenges.
*   Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.

**Compensation:** The estimated pay range for this role is $130,000 - $170,000. This role is eligible for equity participation in Tandem Health.
