Their core product listens to patient-clinician encounters to generate medical notes, saving clinicians 5-10 minutes per patient and reducing after-hours admin work. They prioritize security and integrity, being compliant with GDPR and local patient data laws, with data handled within the EU. They emphasize quick onboarding and integration with existing EHR systems.

Role Description:
Join our expanding Stockholm team as an exceptional Senior Backend Engineer! We are scaling rapidly in terms of user numbers and are specifically seeking engineers who have experience helping startups scale from thousands to millions of users. You'll work on our clinician copilot product, already used by over 300 organizations, focusing on the scalability and reliability of our backend systems.

Responsibilities:
*   Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services primarily using Python.
*   Architect and implement solutions to handle rapid user growth and increasing load.
*   Work extensively with our Kubernetes infrastructure on Azure.
*   Optimize database performance and data handling strategies.
*   Ensure high availability and reliability of the core product.
*   Collaborate closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
*   Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices within the team.

Ideal Candidate:
*   Proven experience in scaling backend systems for high-growth startups (thousands to millions of users).
*   Strong proficiency in Python and backend development principles.
*   Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and database scaling.
*   Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms (Azure strongly preferred).
*   Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting in a production environment.
*   Passionate about solving complex technical challenges in the healthcare domain.
*   Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
*   Eager to have an outsized impact within a small, growing tech team.
