Telli is hiring an ambitious Founding Engineer in Berlin, Germany (on-site). Telli provides AI phone agents that automate inbound and outbound calls for businesses.

We are looking for a founding engineer with high agency to join our team.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with our customers to understand their problems and devise innovative product features.
- Build and maintain scalable backend infrastructure capable of handling thousands of AI phone calls daily.
- Experiment with cutting-edge AI technologies (including LLMs and Voice AI) to develop best-in-class voice agents.
- Take ownership of high-stakes projects from conception through to completion (end-to-end).

Ideal Candidate:
- Possesses high agency and is ambitious.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a product-minded approach.
- Experience building scalable backend systems.
- Proficient with technologies like Python or Go.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (like GCP) and container orchestration (like Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Interest or experience in AI/ML, particularly LLMs and Voice AI.
- Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is comfortable with ambiguity.
