Design UI UX Figma React TypeScript Front-End User Experience Design

About TensorZero: TensorZero is an open-source stack for industrial-grade LLM applications, unifying gateway, observability, optimization, evaluations, and experimentation. We’re seeking a Design Engineer to join our technical-first team, where you’ll create user-centric designs for our TensorZero platform and contribute to our open-source projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design intuitive user interfaces and experiences for TensorZero’s observability and optimization tools
  • Collaborate with engineers to implement UI designs using React and TypeScript
  • Create design systems and components that align with our technical stack
  • Develop and maintain design documentation and patterns
  • Participate in user research and usability testing
  • Contribute to open-source design projects

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
  • Experience with React and TypeScript for frontend implementation
  • Strong UI/UX principles and user-centered design methodology
  • Portfolio demonstrating complex system design
  • Familiarity with design systems and component libraries
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Ideal Candidate: A creative and detail-oriented designer with 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design, particularly for technical products. You should have a portfolio showcasing complex system design and a passion for open-source contributions. Experience with design tools and frontend technologies is highly valued. Compensation: The estimated pay range for this role is $160,000 - $220,000, with equity options as part of our compensation package.
