Join Terradot, a leading carbon removal company founded out of Stanford, focused on Enhanced Rock Weathering (ERW). We're seeking Computational Researchers for our high-performance science and engineering team to develop an engine to jointly quantify and predict CO2 removal in ERW projects.

This role involves tackling complex scientific challenges through computational modeling, focusing on geochemical and geostatistical models and integrating diverse environmental data sources. You will contribute to advancing the fundamental science and predictive capabilities needed to scale ERW globally.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and validate computational models (geochemical, geostatistical, etc.).
- Conduct research to improve understanding and prediction of ERW processes.
- Process and analyze large, complex environmental datasets.
- Collaborate closely with domain experts (geochemists, soil scientists) and software engineers.
- Utilize and contribute to our computational infrastructure (Python & Julia).

Ideal Candidate:
- Strong background in computational science, physics, applied math, computer science, or a related field, often demonstrated by a PhD or equivalent research experience.
- Proficient in scientific programming, particularly in Python and/or Julia.
- Experience with numerical methods, simulation, and modeling complex systems.
- Familiarity with earth sciences, geochemistry, or environmental modeling is advantageous but not essential.
- Driven to apply computational skills to address climate change.
