About The Role: We are seeking a VP, Embedded Finance Developer to lead our integration efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the integration of third-party APIs into our core banking platform. You will work closely with product, engineering, and compliance teams to ensure that our integrations meet the highest standards of security and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and testing of API integrations for embedded finance solutions
  • Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and security teams to define requirements and ensure compliance
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of best practices and continuous improvement
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in embedded finance and API integration
  • Ensure all integrations meet PCI DSS standards and other regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain documentation for all integration processes and systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across multiple systems and platforms
  • Optimize integration processes to improve performance, scalability, and reliability

Required Skills and Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in API integration, particularly in the financial services industry
  • Strong background in software development, with expertise in languages such as Java, Python, or similar
  • Deep understanding of payment systems, security protocols, and compliance standards like PCI DSS
  • Leadership experience, with a track record of managing teams and driving projects to completion
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to balance technical and business priorities
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar)
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing

Compensation: The estimated pay range for this role is $120,762 - $184,011.
