About The Role: We are looking for a Sr. Infrastructure Engineer based in México. You should be comfortable with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions, observability tooling, and scripting to automate and improve systems. You’ll work on reliability, security, and making our platform a great place for engineers to build.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically Enhance and Optimize AWS Infrastructure: Take charge of our AWS infrastructure, focusing on EKS (Kubernetes), and drive strategic improvements for long-term scalability and reliability.
  • Advance CI/CD Processes: Elevate our CI/CD processes, ensuring state-of-the-art automation and efficiency, and integrate best practices for continuous integration and deployment.
  • Enhance Monitoring and Alerting Systems: Develop and maintain advanced monitoring and alerting systems, with a strong preference for experience in tools like Datadog, and introduce proactive measures for system health.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration and Mentorship: Actively collaborate with other teams to support their development processes and infrastructure needs, and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Promote a Culture of Innovation: Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement, aligning with our core values, and encourage innovative thinking and problem-solving approaches.
  • Participate in on-call rotation where you diagnose, mitigate or escalate production issues.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in Cloud Technologies: Demonstrated experience as a DevOps Engineer, with in-depth knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, and related cloud technologies.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure Automation Tools: Familiarity with Cloudflare, Terraform, ArgoCD, and advanced CI/CD automation tools.
  • Advanced Monitoring Skills: Strong understanding of sophisticated monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Basic scripting skills (bash, python, ruby or any other language, including golang).
  • Exceptional Communication and Leadership Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead projects and mentor team members.
  • Ability to lead outage calls and manage incident response effectively.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS) and Istio a plus.
  • Experience with Datadog a plus.
  • Experience with Teleport a plus.
