Senior Product Manager, Platform

This is a senior-level product management role focused on the platform team. You will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy for TigerData’s core platform offerings, including database features, cloud services, and developer tools. You will work closely with engineering, design, and business teams to deliver products that meet customer needs and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute product strategy for TigerData’s core platform offerings
• Collaborate with engineering teams to prioritize features and deliver high-quality products
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product vision and execution
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product decisions
• Develop and maintain product roadmaps aligned with business goals
• Translate customer feedback and market insights into actionable product requirements
• Partner with sales and marketing teams to support go-to-market initiatives
• Monitor product performance metrics and drive continuous improvement

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in database or cloud infrastructure
• Strong understanding of PostgreSQL and time-series databases
• Experience working with technical teams and translating business requirements into technical specifications
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure and SaaS products

Nice to Have:

• Experience with TimescaleDB or similar time-series database products
• Background in developer tools or database products
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience with data analytics and visualization tools
