Deep Learning Researcher

Role: Deep Learning Researcher

Responsibilities: Conduct state-of-the-art research in deep learning applied to image and video enhancement, restoration, and generation. Develop novel algorithms and models to push the boundaries of visual quality. Publish research findings in top-tier conferences and journals. Collaborate with engineers to integrate research into Topaz Labs products.

Skills Required: PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on deep learning, computer vision, or machine learning. Proven track record of research excellence (publications in CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML, etc.). Strong programming skills in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch preferred). Expertise in areas like generative models (GANs, Diffusion), image restoration, or video processing.

Ideal Candidate: A highly motivated researcher with a passion for solving challenging AI problems in the visual domain. Possesses a deep understanding of deep learning fundamentals and a creative approach to research. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a research and development environment.

Compensation: Competitive salary (Range: $130,000 - $250,000, commensurate with experience/qualifications) and equity package.
