Senior Software Engineer (Frontend)

• Voracious learner. You love diving into new areas, languages, and frameworks, and can discuss product design one minute and deployment infrastructure the next.
• Value clear communication. You recognize the importance of documented planning and frequent feedback.
• Sweat the small stuff. You have strong opinions on design patterns, IDE settings, tabs vs. spaces, and care about the details.
• Deep expertise building pixel‑perfect, performant web applications. You have designed and built scalable applications with strong client‑side state management, responsive design, and frontend tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of our web and mobile applications, guiding other engineers as needed.
• Establish best practices in code reusability and build processes for our frontend monorepo.
• Collaborate with product and design to craft best‑in‑class user experiences.
• Build analytics and monitoring to understand user experience and application health.
• Contribute broadly to a scrappy founding team building the future of flexible light‑industrial staffing.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience with Typescript/JavaScript and React or React Native.
• Proven track record of shipping high‑quality products.
• Pixel‑perfect attention to detail.
• Experience building APIs is a plus.
• Experience in early‑stage engineering teams, thriving in ambiguity, and being a self‑starter.
• Passion for helping people find meaningful work.
