**Company:** Tram Case is building AI-powered tools to help law firms work faster, smarter, and with less busywork. Our first module is an AI call center, and we're building an end-to-end platform automating the case lifecycle. We're a small, senior team based in LATAM.

**Role:** As an AI Engineer, you'll be working directly with the founders, designing, building, and deploying AI/ML models and features. You will focus on leveraging AI to automate tasks, extract insights, and enhance our legal tech platform, starting with areas like call transcription/classification and expanding across the case lifecycle. No layers of approval, no legacy code — just thoughtful product work, shipped fast.

**Responsibilities:**
*   Develop, train, and deploy machine learning models (especially in NLP, potentially other areas).
*   Integrate AI models into the backend services (Python).
*   Work with data pipelines for training and inference.
*   Research and experiment with new AI techniques relevant to legal tech.
*   Collaborate with backend/fullstack engineers on API design and integration.
*   Monitor and improve model performance.

**Technical Skills:**
*   Strong proficiency in Python and relevant AI/ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers).
*   Experience with machine learning model development lifecycle (data collection, preprocessing, training, evaluation, deployment).
*   Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques is highly desirable (e.g., transcription, classification, NER).
*   Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools is a plus.
*   Understanding of backend development concepts.
*   Required Languages: Spanish & English.
