Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior React Native / Android Engineer to join our remote team. You will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing our mobile applications on both iOS (via React Native) and Android (native and React Native). You will be responsible for building a seamless, secure, and intuitive user experience for families managing highly sensitive information, leveraging best-in-class security practices like tokenization and multi-factor authentication.

Responsibilities:
*   Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable code for our React Native and native Android applications.
*   Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define, design, and ship new features that align with the company vision.
*   Optimize application performance, memory usage, quality, and responsiveness across different devices and OS versions.
*   Identify and troubleshoot complex issues, correct bottlenecks, and implement robust bug fixes.
*   Uphold high standards for code quality, organization, documentation, and automated testing.
*   Contribute to architectural decisions and technology choices for the mobile platform.
*   Stay current with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in mobile development (React Native, Android, iOS).

Technical Skills Required:
*   Proven track record as a Mobile Engineer with significant experience in React Native development.
*   Strong understanding of Android native development (Kotlin/Java) and its core principles, SDKs, and ecosystem.
*   Experience with state management libraries commonly used with React (e.g., Redux, Zustand, MobX).
*   Proficiency with native build tools like XCode, Gradle, and Android Studio.
*   Experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for mobile applications.
*   Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and integrating mobile applications with backend services.
*   Familiarity with mobile security best practices and secure coding techniques.
