Backend Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable backend services using technologies like Go, Java, or Python
• Collaborate with frontend teams and product managers to define requirements and build features
• Ensure high performance, reliability, and security of backend systems
• Optimize database queries and infrastructure for maximum efficiency
• Implement automated testing and monitoring solutions
• Work with our team to develop and maintain APIs and microservices architecture

Required Skills and the Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in backend development with languages like Go, Java, or Python
• Strong understanding of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and their optimization
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
• Familiarity with message queues and asynchronous processing is required
