About Two Six Technologies: Two Six Technologies is seeking a Lead Embedded Tool Developer to transform innovative proofs of concept into robust capabilities that address real-world threats. We are immersed in cutting-edge vulnerability research on a wide range of unique embedded systems, working side by side with top-tier CNO developers and hardware engineers to deliver advanced security solutions. Our fast-growing roster of government customers relies on us to deliver advanced security solutions, and we're looking for an Embedded Tool Developer to help us continue pushing boundaries. If you're passionate about building tools that make a tangible impact on national security, we want you on our team. Key Responsibilities: - Develop tooling to aid in the reverse engineering of embedded systems - Implement existing protocols into novel applications - Work closely with hardware and software reverse engineers - Rapidly prototype new technologies to exploit and interact with target systems Requirements: - Hands-on experience debugging embedded systems using JTAG, UART, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers - Extensive experience modifying and debugging large-scale or open-source codebases - Experience writing and debugging C, C++, Python, and shell scripting - Strong experience using Git, creating CI/CD pipelines, and contributing to team-based development projects - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field OR have 5+ years of equivalent professional experience in embedded security or tool development Nice-to-have: - Experience working as part of small R&D teams composed of researchers and engineers - Experience with firmware development or firmware reverse engineering - Experience with invasive and non-invasive hardware analysis, including PCB/component identification and hardware manipulation - Ability to create detailed wiring diagrams, schematics, and hardware documentation to support tool development - Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance and ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI
