Geospatial Analyst/Database Developer

What you will do:

• Manage and administer an Oracle Spatial database, including creating tables, procedures and views as well as performing other database administration tasks.
• Develop and execute spatial queries to support analyst requests and drive mission outcomes.
• Utilize scripting languages (e.g. Python, SQL, etc.) and libraries to parse and process files of various formats, including but not limited to CSV, JSON and XML.
• Leverage ESRI GIS tools (e.g. ArcGIS, ArcMap, etc.) to analyze and visualize geospatial data.
• Proactively identify opportunities to provide value to analysts based on available geospatial datasets and develop solutions to meet those needs.
• Work independently with minimal supervision, requiring strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Apply Data Science techniques to leverage information between data collections, including but not limited to:
• Creating data visualizations and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders
• Developing data fusion and integration strategies to combine data from multiple sources.
• Perform other related duties as assigned

What you will need:

• Experience working with Oracle Spatial, including creating views, optimizing SQL queries and some administration duties
• Proficiency in languages such as Python, SQL or similar
• Experience with ESRI GIS tool suite, such as ArcGIS Pro or ArcMap
• Strong understanding of geospatial data concepts and spatial analysis techniques
• Ability to work independently and prioritize task effectively in a fast‑paced environment

Salary Range

$122,500 — $229,800 USD
