Devops Engineer

Company: Uncountable accelerates R&D for industrial scientists across leading materials, chemicals, and life sciences organizations. With our SaaS solution, our customers get better products to the market in half the time. We are profitable, growing (30 to ~70 in two years), and have teams in SF, NYC, Munich, and London.

Role: We are looking for a Devops Engineer to manage and improve our infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and operational practices. You will ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the Uncountable platform, enabling our development teams to ship features quickly and safely.

Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines. Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure - specific provider not mentioned). Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management. Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize application performance and reliability. Respond to and resolve operational incidents.

Ideal Candidate: Experienced Devops engineer with a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible), CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI), and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Cares deeply about automation, reliability, and security. Proactive problem-solver.
