Launched in the Summer 2025 Y Combinator batch, the company now seeks a Full Stack Software Engineer to help scale its product from a fledgling demo to a fully‑managed, compliant service offered to a growing portfolio of institutional clients.

What You’ll Do

• Architect & Build: Design, develop, and ship end‑to‑end features that span the frontend (React/Next.js), backend (Node.js/TypeScript, Go), and cloud orchestration (Google Cloud Platform).
• AI‑Integration: Collaborate with data scientists to embed state‑of‑the‑art NLP models into the user experience, ensuring smooth, real‑time voice and text interactions.
• Performance & Reliability: Implement observability, automated testing, and continuous deployment pipelines to keep the platform’s high‑availability standards.
• Cross‑Functional Leadership: Work closely with product managers, design, and compliance teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions that meet stringent regulatory standards.
• Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers, review code, and set coding standards to uphold product quality.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and optimize APIs and microservices that power the agent’s voice, SMS, and email channels.
2. Implement secure payment processing flows (ACH, card) that integrate with banking APIs and meet PCI‑DSS compliance.
3. Build a scalable telemetry system to monitor call quality, engagement metrics, and system performance.
4. Write robust integration tests and participate in load‑testing to ensure the platform handles thousands of concurrent conversations.
5. Design front‑end components that allow lenders to configure agent scripts, monitor agent performance, and view compliance dashboards.
6. Continuously evaluate new AI tooling (e.g., Claude, GPT‑4, or specialized voice models) for potential integration.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of full‑stack development experience with TypeScript, React/Next.js, and Node.js or Go.
• Proven experience building scalable, high‑performance APIs and cloud‑native services on GCP (or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and secure data handling in regulated industries.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitOps practices.
• Experience with real‑time communication protocols (WebSockets, gRPC) and conversational AI frameworks is a plus.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a passion for building products that solve real‑world problems.
