About Veritus Agent: Veritus is a YC-backed startup (S25) reinventing loan servicing and debt collection with AI. Our platform enables lenders, servicers, and collections agencies to spin up, personalize, and A/B test AI agents across voice, email, SMS, and chat, while we ensure compliance. This enables our clients to improve collections performance and lower costs, while delivering a great experience to their customers. We’re also using the platform in our own collections agency, allowing us to push the envelope in how much we can automate across the full collections stack.

About You:

• 6+ years of engineering experience as an individual contributor in a full-stack environment
• A proven track record of building modern web applications in Typescript and React
• Experience building and consuming APIs
• Passionate about building and working on AI systems
• Strong product intuition
• Based in San Francisco, CA and willingness to work in-person
• Enjoy engaging with various partners, particularly those outside engineering

What You’ll Do: As a full stack engineer at Veritus Agent, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining our AI-powered collections platform. You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to develop features that help our clients improve collections performance and reduce costs. You’ll be involved in all aspects of development, from frontend user interfaces to backend services that power our AI agents.

You’ll be working with cutting-edge technologies to create a seamless experience for both our clients and end-users. Your work will directly impact how efficiently we can collect debts and how satisfied our clients are with our service. You’ll have the opportunity to shape the technical direction of our platform and contribute to solving complex problems in the financial services industry.
