**About The Role:** As a Senior Android Engineer at Vivint, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our mobile applications. You will work on creating robust, scalable, and user-friendly Android apps that integrate with our smart home ecosystem. **What You'll Do:**
- Design and implement high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and Java
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Optimize application performance and the mobile user experience
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in Android development

**Requirements:**
- Proven experience as a Senior Android Engineer with 5+ years in the field
- Strong expertise in Kotlin and Java for Android development
- Experience with Android SDK, RESTful APIs, and third-party libraries
- Deep understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
