About The Role: As a Backend Engineer at Vivint, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our server-side applications. You will work on creating scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend systems that power our smart home platform. What You’ll Do:

• Design and implement backend services using Python or GoLang
• Develop and maintain APIs for our mobile and web applications
• Optimize database queries and application performance
• Work with cloud platforms and containerization technologies
• Collaborate with frontend and mobile teams to integrate backend services
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer
• Strong programming skills in Python or GoLang
• Experience with database design and optimization
• Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
