Sr. Software Engineer (Backend)

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services for Voldex's library of live service games
- Work with experienced teams to build and scale cloud infrastructure serving millions of daily users
- Contribute to the development of new in-game features, web services, and bug fixes
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using modern backend technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, artists, game designers, and front-end developers to define and implement game features for current and upcoming titles
- Optimize backend systems for performance, scalability, and reliability to support millions of users
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency with Golang and Docker for building scalable backend services
- Deep understanding of AWS services including Lambda, S3, ECS, EC2, and Fargate
- Familiarity with Node.js, VueJS, and NextJS for building modern web applications
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a track record of developing high-performance systems
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated ownership mentality and commitment to quality engineering

**Bonus Qualifications:**
- Experience with game development or gaming industry
- Background in building scalable backend systems for high-traffic applications
- Familiarity with Roblox development platform
- Experience with containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure
- Passion for gaming and understanding of game development lifecycle
