Implementation Manager

Company: Maritime Shipping Solutions helps tackle one of the most important sectors for the global economy - maritime shipping. The industry is antiquated, hampered by paperwork, and customers are crying out for better solutions. We're a team of >20 people hiring remotely and globally.

Role: We are looking for an Implementation Manager to help our customers in the maritime shipping industry successfully adopt and get the most value from our software.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end implementation process for new customers.
- Assist customers with data migration, getting their data into and out of our software.
- Develop and manage ETL pipelines and data workflows.
- Train customer end-users and provide ongoing support during the implementation phase.
- Work closely with customers to understand their specific needs and configure the software accordingly.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams based on customer feedback.

Technical Skills:
- Experience with data manipulation and databases, particularly MySQL.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and tools (e.g., AWS Glue, DBT, or similar).
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Metabase).
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.

- Intellectually curious about new industries, specifically maritime shipping.
- Enjoys talking to and getting close to end users and customers.
- Problem-solver with strong technical aptitude related to data management.
- Comfortable working in a remote, global team environment (UCT-8 to UCT+4).
- Fluent in English.
