**Role Description:**

As a Forward-Deployed Software Engineer, you will be embedded within client engagements to design, develop, and implement technical solutions. You will work directly with client technical teams to integrate Workhelix software and methodologies, build custom tools or scripts as needed, and ensure the smooth operation of our solutions. You will also contribute to the development of our core scalable software platform and infrastructure.

**Responsibilities:**

*   Collaborate with Forward-Deployed Strategists and client teams to understand technical requirements.
*   Design, build, and deploy software solutions tailored to client needs, leveraging Python, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
*   Integrate Workhelix tools and data pipelines within client environments.
*   Develop and maintain robust, scalable backend systems and infrastructure.
*   Troubleshoot technical issues during deployment and operation.
*   Contribute to the core Workhelix platform, improving scalability, reliability, and features.
*   Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.

**Ideal Candidate:**

*   Strong proficiency in Python programming.
*   Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
*   Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.).
*   Experience building and deploying backend systems and APIs.
*   Familiarity with data engineering concepts and tools is a plus.
*   Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
*   Ability to work effectively in client-facing situations.
*   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
*   Based in or willing to work frequently in the Greater San Francisco Area.
