Our mission is to empower millions of smallholder farmers with access to modern farming tools and resources, thereby increasing their yields and profits. We achieve this by providing high-quality seeds and fertilizers on credit, using machine learning to assess creditworthiness and ensure profitability. Apollo operates in multiple countries and is expanding rapidly, aiming to make a significant impact on global food production.

The company is built on a foundation of innovation and a collaborative culture. We are a small, motivated team with Silicon Valley roots, but our impact is global. Our core engineering team supports a wide range of tools and processes, with a primary stack of Scala 2 with cats-effect and a PostgreSQL backend.
