Ascertain is a healthcare AI startup based in New York City, backed by Northwell Health and Deerfield Management. We build an automation platform powered by AI to handle painful administrative tasks in healthcare, like prior authorizations, discharge planning, and insurance claims. Our goal is to liberate clinicians from paperwork so they can focus on patient care. We've found early product-market fit and are growing our team thoughtfully. We're automating healthcare operations with AI, including document processing, payer form filling, rejection explanations, and patient discharge planning. We're a small, tight-knit team with a hybrid work model (approximately 3 days/week in-office).
