Monumental is creating robots that autonomously construct buildings, starting with autonomous bricklaying robots. They design all hardware and software in-house in central Amsterdam. Their mission is to make construction software-defined and autonomous, working towards a future where beautiful, bespoke buildings are built within a single day with minimal labor. Their robots are deployed on customer sites earning revenue, having built structures across the Netherlands. The company has raised $25 million from investors like Plural, Hummingbird, Northzone, Foundamental, and NP-Hard, and the team is over 50 people and growing rapidly.
