Monumental is a robotics and software company based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Our mission is to make construction primarily software-defined and work towards a future where beautiful, bespoke buildings are built within a single day with minimal labor. We are creating robots that autonomously construct buildings, starting with autonomous bricklaying robots. Our technology is at the forefront, touching hardware design, machine vision, and software, all vertically integrated. We have built a product that's deployed on real construction sites and has built facades for houses, canal retaining walls, and other structures that stand across the Netherlands today. We are a fast-growing, high-ambition, hard-tech startup founded by experienced repeat founders and funded by top-tier investors including Plural, Hummingbird, Northzone, Foundamental, NP-Hard. We have raised $25 million in funding and are now operating in the Netherlands. We are still in the early days of building the company, and we are looking for talented individuals to join our team.
