Onja is a social enterprise based in Toamasina, Madagascar, dedicated to training underprivileged youth into world-class software developers. We identify talented students who cannot afford higher education and provide them with comprehensive training in English and software development. Our innovative approach empowers these students to secure remote positions in international tech companies, enabling them to support their families and contribute to their nation's development. With a successful first cohort of nineteen graduates now working for global tech firms, Onja has established a proven model. Our mission is to scale rapidly, aiming to train 360 new students over the next four years, thereby transforming education and economic opportunities in Madagascar.
