We operate a cutting-edge data platform that provides high-quality human feedback data, powering AI teams at industry leaders like OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta, and Google. We specialize in Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF), Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT), and custom human evaluation benchmarks.

Founded by former ML engineers, Surge AI focuses on delivering the highest quality data to push the state of the art forward, leveraging an elite US-based workforce, custom annotation tools, and sophisticated quality control systems. This year, we are focused on extending our platform to support agentic workflows and help clients ship agents that interact with the world. We've contributed to significant projects like OpenAI's GSM8K dataset and provided RLHF data for Anthropic's Claude models. We are a small, rapidly growing, profitable team with leaders from Google, Meta, Twitter, and Airbnb, valuing autonomy and ownership.
