Synapto is a well-funded early-stage startup specializing in payments. Founded in 2023, we have already achieved significant milestones, including processing payments for our customers in production. Our mission is to simplify and streamline payment processing for businesses worldwide. We are building a comprehensive billing system that handles invoices, subscriptions, taxes, and split-payments, and we are committed to simplicity, flexibility, and quality.

We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our small team of 5. In this role, you will be responsible for building and scaling our payment infrastructure. You will work on critical features including billing (invoices, subscriptions, taxes), split-payments (account boarding, ledgers, payout, etc.), and developer tooling (API, webhooks, idempotence, rate limiting, etc.). This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment.
