Veritus is a next-generation, vertically integrated debt buyer and collections platform powered entirely by AI. We acquire charged-off consumer debt and service it using in-house AI agents—including voice AI—replacing costly and inconsistent human collectors with automated agents that are faster, cheaper, and more compliant.

By owning the full stack—from debt acquisition and portfolio valuation to omnichannel outreach and negotiation—we drastically reduce cost-to-collect, enabling us to pay more for portfolios and scale rapidly. Veritus is positioned to lead a massive transformation in the $16B+ collections industry, expanding from debt buying into third-party servicing and SaaS.

We’ve just joined Y Combinator’s Summer 2025 batch and are backed by repeat founders with deep experience in AI, fintech, and regulatory-heavy industries. Now we’re building out the founding team—and looking for world-class engineers who want to work at the heart of a high-margin, AI-native vertical business.

Our platform enables lenders, servicers, and collections agencies to spin up, personalize, and A/B test AI agents across voice, email, SMS, and chat, while we ensure compliance. This enables our clients to improve collections performance and lower costs, while delivering a great experience to their customers. We’re also using the platform in our own collections agency, allowing us to push the envelope in how much we can automate across the full collections stack.
