Recurse Center

Recurse Center is a privately held company founded by YC S10. Our mission is to transform lives by helping people direct themselves. We achieve this through running programming retreats and an integrated recruiting agency. Since 2011, we’ve helped over 2,800 participants from nearly 200 cities. Our retreats are held in-person at our hub in Brooklyn and online. We recruit for a range of companies, focusing on US-based early-stage startups and technology-focused finance firms. Our recruiting business provides lifelong career services to our participants, and our retreats are free for all participants. We operate entirely on recruiting revenue and do not plan to raise money or go public.
