Marker is an AI-native Word Processor – a reimagining of traditional word processing tools like Google Docs and Microsoft Word, but enhanced with collaborative workflows and human-centered agentic AI editors. We are a small, early-stage company based in London, UK, built by a team of experienced engineers, designers, and product people. Our mission is to empower serious writers by giving them writing superpowers through cutting-edge technology. Marker combines the best of modern web technologies with advanced AI to create a seamless, intuitive writing experience. We focus on building a next-generation user interface that not only supports collaborative editing but also provides intelligent assistance through agentic AI. Our tech stack includes Cloudflare Workers, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, CRDTs for real-time collaboration, and a range of AI models from Anthropic and OpenAI.
